ART FOR SCREENS

RDYSTDY is an independent production studio based in Melbourne (AU) and Wellington (NZ) with an international practice. Founded by creative director, writer, artist Hana Miller and producer, animator, artist Jacob Perkins, we make art for screens.

Art: We work with artists who are interested in exploring video and projection conceptually and for live performance. We have collaborated on award-winning, internationally toured, and highly reviewed works with a choreographers, dancers, musicians, composers and scientists. We are interested in innovative use of video and projection, particularly immersive cinema, projection mapping, and the moving image as a mode of inquiry.

Film + TV: We work with broadcasters, networks and other production companies, to create original series and digital games. Our first mixed media series for pre-schoolers RiDDLE + SQUiZZ was originally commissioned by TVNZ/HEIHEI and went on to inspire offshoot game series EYE SPiES. We are currently in development with BBC for BUZZO, a new animated comedy series for pre-tweens originally commissioned by TVNZ.

Commercial: We work with designers to create moving images, videos and campaigns that can be used for marketing, social media, and website interface. We have worked with international luxury brands in fashion, kids, accessories, outdoor goods, and homewares.

In each of the areas above, we are on board from the beginning to end. We can put together the best team from an amazing network of talented collaborators, artists, producers, animators, illustrators, designers, coders, composers, and engineers.
